The process of simulacrum is perhaps an opinion, or perhaps a need to have one’s own say: A pivotal moment that gets a ball rolling; something that pushes one over a threshold. As much as I love Nairobi… and my little nook; I fear and scream for a more sustainable future. The trees have disappeared, and towers of flats grow in their stead.
Cross stitch is often seen as soft and feminine – let’s think about tactility and transference.
